Emergency Procedures
FIRE DRILLS
After receiving instruction to evacuate the building students should immediately do the following:
1. Line up quickly and quietly in a single file line behind your teacher.
2. Follow your teacher to the designated emergency exit to the specified meet up location on the parking lot.
3. Students should remain in a single file line while attendance is taken and throughout the duration of the drill.
4. Students may re-enter the building only after the all clear signal has been given.
LOCK-DOWN
PROCEDURES
In the event of a lockdown students should immediately do the following based on location:
Classroom and Hallway
- Quickly and quietly assume a crouching or sitting position against the designated walls.
- As students leave their desk, they should take any throwable items with which they can easily carry.
Life Skills Lab
- Quickly and quietly follow Coach Campbell to the designated lockdown spot.
Library
- Students will quickly and quietly assume a crouching or sitting position against the designated walls.
